Ankle Movements

Sit on the floor with your legs stretched out in front of you.

Practice the following ankle movements:

1. Exhale and point your toes away from you. Inhale and lift your toes toward you. Repeat twice more.

2. Move your toes in a clockwise direction, keeping your legs still so the movement comes from your ankles, not your legs. Begin slowly at first, then increase the size of the circle and the speed. Do three repetitions. Repeat in the opposite direction.
