Revolved Triangle Pose (Parivrtta Trikonasana)

Start by standing with your feet facing forward and about two and a half feet apart.

On your exhalation, revolve your trunk, placing your right hand on the floor between your feet and extending your left arm straight up. 

As your arm extends up, turn your head to gaze down toward the floor.

On your next inhalation, lengthen your left arm alongside your head and turn your gaze upward.

On your next exhalation, return to your prior position, with the arm lengthening up and head gazing down.


Then inhale back to your starting position. 

Repeat the pose three times on each side, alternating between sides.
